Varsity football, girls volleyball off to powerful starts
As the 2009 fall season progresses, eight-year athletic director Joe Whitford III proudly reported that both the Kahuku High varsity football and girls volleyball teams have each won four matches. More specifically:

After 70-plus wins and six undefeated seasons since 2003 when girls water polo became an official sport in the OIA, the Kahuku High team finally lost on April 22 to Roosevelt, 9-7.
