Kahuku Elementary School held its annual May Day program — in 2010 entitled in Hawaiian, E Ho'okahi ka Mana'o, Ho'okahi Pu'uwai or Be of One Mind, One Heart — on May 6 in the BYU–Hawaii Cannon Activities Center.

 

Following local tradition, the "mighty" 6th graders provided the Hawaiian "royal court" and accompanying number, with Kesi Ah Hoy as king and Ariana Mozo as queen. Preschoolers from the Bright Beginnings Pre-School in Hauula were also asked to join the program.
