Laie 4th grade Big Island fundraiser

[ August 20, 2010; 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. ] Jo-Ann Keliikuli's Laie Elementary School 4th grade class will hold a Big Island fundraiser "bake & garage sale" at her yard, 55-651 Wahinepee St., that will include baked goods, musubi, lemonade, hair dressing and more. All proceeds will go toward the expense of the 4th grade's annual Big Island tour.

Biking and walking along the Koolauloa coast to go to school, work, or visit family and friends will soon become easier and safer. A 7,400-foot path linking Laie and Kahuku is planned for the mauka (inland) side of Kamehameha Highway in Malaekahana.
