School Athletic Director Joe Whitford announced that on Friday, August 20, 2010, "we are going to start world-wide audio-casting as many football games as we can." However, he stressed that the OIA has an agreement with OC16 TV, "so we cannot audio-cast a game that they are televising."

"We're also going to do all the home volleyball games, beginning August 26, 2010," he said.

Whitford explained that the football audio-casts will start at 7 p.m. Hawaii time. "I'll be doing the play-by-play, and former head coach Siuaki Livai will be doing the color. For the volleyball games, I'll be doing the play-by-play and Teisa Fotu Auva'a will be doing the color."

"So far we're the only high school in Hawaii that's doing this, and we're excited," Whitford continued, pointing out that Network1sports.com has about 300 schools in their line-up, "so we're fortunate to be included in this."

"This is another way we get our athletic teams out there, because we have a lot of friends and relatives throughout the world — people who are interested to tune in on Red Raider games."

Whitford also said that when the number of listeners grows, "we might eventually start doing some paid advertising. That would be a new revenue stream for us."
