Kaleo currently offers advertising in the hard-copy edition — which includes 6,000 tabloid-sized copies that are distributed throughout Laie, Hauula and Kahuku in central Koolauloa — at the following schedule and rates:

• Billing occurs upon publication, net-7; but Kaleo: Koolauloa News (KKN) reserves the right to request payment in advance where no credit history has been established with an advertiser. Classified ads must be paid in advance.
• New advertisers who wish to purchase an ad larger than a eighth-page are requested to contact the publisher at least two weeks in advance of the applicable deadlines. KKN is often limited in space and we may not be able to automatically accept your ad.
• Ads must be received by the issue deadline. KKN can help with simple typesetting and design, otherwise, all ads should be submitted CAMERA READY.
• Black and White ads only.
• KKN is published on web offset paper slightly better than newsprint.
• Half tone images should be screened for web-offset printing reproduction at between 200-300 dpi for best results.
• We encourage you to submit your ads via email, and have worked successfully with TIFs, JPGs, PSDs and PDFs.
• All rates are net of agency commission, if applicable.
• KKN will add on Hawaii State general excise tax charges calculated at 4.712% of the applicable rate.
