The varsity girls won their OIA East title April 12 at Kaiser High, scoring 145 points (Kaiser came in second with 100). In 13 of the 16 events, at least one Red Raider scored in the top-6 to build up the comfortable lead.

Ashley Burt scored individual wins in the 200m (28:32.) and 400m (1:05.14) dashes, as well as the high jump (4'10"). Lani Speer won the long jump (15'3.5") and triple jump (34'1"); and both Burt and Speer were members of the winning 4X100 relay, along with Leiona Ramirez and Naomi Blanchard.

The JV girls have a pretty good shot at their title on April 19.

Meanwhile, the varsity boys tied for 4th, while the JV boys came in second in the OIA East. Stan Nakasone came in first in the 110m (15.1) and 300m (42.98) hurdles for the varsity; and he — along with Patrick Vivas, Keala Aiwohi and John Broc — won the 4X400 relay (3:42.91). Paipai Falemalu also won the discus throw (171'0").
